Meet Patrick Murphy
Patrick Murphy is a talented artist from the Waikato district, New Zealand, residing just outside Tuakau on 4 acres. After attending Palmerston North Boys High School and given the choice to study fine arts at Elam or Visual Communication and Marketing in Wellington he chose the later. This career path lead to success in Art Direction roles working for high profile corp agencies and finally becoming co-founder and part owner of a successful indie – Executive Creative Director.
Leaving advertising in 2024, he now focuses on his original passion for art and music creating the unique series ‘Brushes with Fame’ featuring hand-painted portrait brushes of iconic musicians and beloved characters. Patrick hopes his art brings joy and inspiration to all who view it.
